Tasfiyah is an Arabic term meaning "to cleanse or purify". In Islamic terms it refers to distinguishing the true understanding of Islam, which was adhered to by Prophet Muhammad and his Companions, from the false beliefs and practices that are attributed to it.

The goal of tasfiyah.net is to aid this purification by promoting education of the fundamentals of Islam. Through learning and implementing these essential matters, it is hoped to produce individuals and communities that will benefit humanity as a whole.
